Visitors to the Intermark Mall in Kuala Lumpur will be blown away with the festive ‘Joy To The World’ display of the 7 wonders of the world created from a total of 60,562 pieces of Coca-Cola cans and bottles.

The stunning display spreads over the shopping mall’s concourse and features world iconic landmarks such as the Big Ben, Burj Khalifa, Colosseum, Eiffel Tower, Empire State Building, Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Taj Mahal.

Taking about 60-hours to construct, the display entry has been submitted to the Malaysia Book of Records for the “Most Number of Beverages Used to Build International Landmark Replicas”.

This record-breaking attempt is a collaboration between Intermark Mall and anchor tenant, Jaya Grocer, and Coca-Cola Malaysia.

“With the festive season around the corner, we look forward to entertaining the public and have them travel the world with this special display where we will also strive to enter the Malaysian Book of Records for the Most Number of Beverages Used to Build International Landmark Replicas,” said Gareth McGeown, Chief Executive Officer, Bottling Investment Group, Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei, The Coca-Cola Company.

McGeown put the finishing touch to the display alongside Intermark Mall Director of Marketing, Kung Suan Ai, and Jaya Grocer’s Director of Operations, Daniel Teng, during the official launch.
